The students have prepared for the last two months for their
upcoming tea and I am so very proud of them!!

Tea Information & New Schedule for 2010/2011
It is amazing to me that our 2009/2010 school year is quickly coming to a close!!
As we finish everything up for this year, we are planning our end of year Piano Student Tea.
As in the past, we will hold the Tea in our home.
An email will go out early this week with a sign up attachment for the food we will need.
The Tea will be held the first Sunday in June. June 6th at 2:30 in the afternoon.
The students are choosing their music now and are very excited to play for our families!!

New Information for 2010
Happy New Year!!
Lots going on in the world of music these days!
Piano Lessons are moving along each week on Tuesday and Thursdays.
Enrollment for the 2010/2011 piano school year will begin in mid April. Check back this Spring for new piano time slots opening!!
Our piano students did a wonderful job playing for the residents at the Sunrise Assisted Living Center in November! I was so very proud of them!
Our next big piano event will be our Piano Student Tea this Spring!!
New Kindermusik class beginning on February 22, 2010.
Classes meet on Monday afternoons at 2:00 and run for 40 minutes.
Classes meet at Pianorama in Raleigh - near Crabtree Valley Mall.
Ages for classes are 2 1/2 - 5 (or not yet in kindergarten)

FREE KINDERMUSIK DEMONSTRATION
FREE Kindermusik demonstration!!! Monday, Sept. 21st. It starts at 6:00 and will last until about 6:20 (or so). The ages for the demo are 2 1/2 - 5 (not yet started kindergarten). The demo is held at Pianorama Studio (it's not too far from Crabtree Valley Mall) - the address is 5121 Hollyridge Dr., Suite 100 Raleigh - 27612 (parents plan to accompany your child)

Kindermusik begins soon!
ABC Music & Me, created by Kindermusik International, is a music enrichment program designed specifically for preschool age children. The program is offered in monthly units with weekly 40-minute classes. Each lesson also emphasizes a different area of child development: coordination, listening skills, early exposure to reading skills, confidence, and vocal expressiveness.
This month we’ll think & talk in patterns of 3s. In class we’ll sing songs that help your child seek & find that pattern, such as singing Row, Row, Row Your Boat. Even the things in your Home Kit this month come in 3s - when you listen to the music, share the activities, and splash around with the blow-up beach ball!!
~~ Ages 2 ½ - 5 years (including early 5’s not already in kindergarten)
~~ Parent or caregiver joins the class for the final ten minutes
~~ 40-minute classes begin September 14, 2009
~~ Class meets on Mondays at 2:00 and runs 4 weeks
~~ Class is held at PianoRAMA, LLC 5121 Hollyridge Dr., Ste. 100 Raleigh
~~ Class registration fee/material fee is $22.00 - this holds class spot & allows for
Materials to be ordered for the child
~~ Class fee is $60.00 - this covers this 4 week session
~~ Home Kit for this session including a home CD & magazine-style Family Guide
This semester also includes a Beach Ball!!

New ABC Music & Me classes are beginning August 3rd.
Classes are on Monday afternoons Aug. 3, 10, 17, 24, &31.
Class time is 2:00 - 2:40 with parent or care-giver attending for the final 10 minutes.
Class Material/Registration Fee is $22 (holds your spot in the class & orders materials)
Class Fee is $75 (covers 5 class sessions)
This month, we’re taking pretend adventures to the mountains, the beach, and going on bike rides, and picnics. Meanwhile, your toddler gets lots of practice taking turns and interacting socially. And you’ll love the take-home activities in your Home Kit, with great ideas for making an easy-at-home bird feeder. Plus, when you incorporate these class activities into your playtime at home, you’re sharing in the learning happening in class.
